We were both musicians who loved all kinds of music, especially rock n’ roll, so we would always have fun hanging out after school playing music together. In sharing so much music and good times throughout the years, John became one of my dearest and closest friends. John and his wife, Janet Henderson, gave me the honor of being the best man at their wedding and again gave me the honor of being the godfather of their son Crockett.
